A little comic I’ve very slowly chipped away at off and on over the past year. @desertislandcomics put out a call for submissions for their Rescue Party project in April 2020, asking for comics “visualizing your ideal future, in a utopian world after we survive this moment” (of lockdown/quarantine/pandemic panic and stress). I thought a lot about how glad I was/am to be able to spend time outside especially during very strict lockdown; taking walks around the neighborhood, gaining a better appreciation for the sights and sounds we often take for granted or don’t notice in our normally bustling lives.
